Maybe water will can help you lose weight .We’ve all heard that we need to drink a lot of water in order to stay healthy, but how does this affect weight loss?  Will your body retain it, making you gain weight instead?

Generally, the body will only retain water if it isn’t getting enough of it in the first place.  If you deprive your body of water, it will go into panic mode and retain as much of it as it possibly can.
How does water help you lose weight? Studies have actually shown that drinking 2 glasses of water before meals results in not only faster weight loss, but more weight loss overall, than those who don’t drink water.

When you drink all the water you need, you will very quickly notice a decrease in your appetite, possibly even on the first day! If you're serious about becoming leaner and healthier, drinking water is an absolute must. If you're doing everything else right and still not seeing results, this might just be the missing link.

Eating water-based foods is also very helpful when it comes to weight loss, as they can reduce caloric intake without reducing portions.  These include foods such as soup, fruit and vegetables.  There are some really yummy stocks out there which are very tasty, and contain no calories.
